Donor-Advised Fund Giving

What is a donor-advised fund?

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a type of giving program that allows you to combine the most favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to easily support your favorite causes. If you have a donor-advised fund, DAF Direct enables you to recommend gifts to Adler University directly from your DAF (as long as your DAF’s sponsoring organization is participating).

How do donor-advised funds work?

  1. Establish your DAF by making an irrevocable, tax-deductible donation to a public charity that sponsors a DAF program
  2. Advise the investment allocation of the donated assets (any investment growth is tax-free)
  3. Recommend grants to qualified public charities of your choice, with the option of being recognized or remaining anonymous

If I already have a donor-advised fund, how do I donate to Adler University?

  1. Recommend a gift to the Adler University now utilizing the DAF Direct box below.
  2. Simply complete the fields shown, and click the “next” button to continue.

Thank you for your support!
