Cathleen Bridgeman, Ph.D.
Assistant Director, Center for Learning and Teaching
I coordinate writing services for Adler School students, faculty, and staff in Chicago and Vancouver. I have teaching experience at the university level in both the United States and the Middle East and have worked with writers of varying levels and language backgrounds. My goal is to help individuals become aware of their writing processes and of the many resources and strategies available to address any issues they find problematic in academic and professional writing.
I want every student to recognize the importance of writing well, not just as an academic activity, but as a professional skill. My focus is on making the writing process as easy as possible and the final product as effective as possible. At Adler School, I work with people individually or in groups to address writing concerns. In addition, I also provide written resources and occasional workshops.
Please e-mail or call me (312-662-4204) if you have questions or would like more information about my role at the Adler School.
